COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Service Update

PLEASE DO NOT ENTER THE SURGERY IF YOU SUSPECT YOU HAVE COME INTO CONTACT WITH SOMEONE WITH CORONAVIRUS, OR HAVE SYMPTOMS OF HIGH TEMPERATURE, PERSISTENT COUGH, SHORTNESS OF BREATH OR HEADACHE

We would like to explain how we will be continuing our service during the COVID19 event.

 

We will continue to provide our full range of services and consultations. Appointments can now be in person unless you, or a close contact has or is suspected of having Covid. If that is the case please get someone else to attend the surgery or we can offer an initial video or telephone consultation.

Our aim is to reduce physical contact throughout the consultation and treatment process to minimise any chance of spreading infection. We want to maintain access to high quality of veterinary care whilst minimising the risks to owners and our staff. 

 

Even if you are having to self-isolate or would prefer to avoid contact then we can provide the care, treatment and support that we continue to strive to provide. Any required medications can be collected from our Yarwell Surgery during our published clinic times, by post or delivered to local addresses by one of our team.

Repeat Prescriptions and Food Ordering

Please ring or email to order prescriptions and food  - We normally require 48 hours notice.

When collecting please ring the video intercom and wait for a team member – the door will be locked.

We will invoice you by email and, if possible, please pay before collection by bank transfer with the details on the invoice. We will hand the products over to you outside or into your car if you prefer. We are now accepting card and cash payments too.

 

* If you are bringing  your pet to the practice:

Please ring the video intercom and wait for a member of the team – the door will be locked. We ask that just  one "pet family" at a time comes into the waiting area. We ask that anyone coming into the building wears a well-fitting mask at all times. We will take your pet to perform an examination in the consulting room whilst you wait in your car or seated in the waiting room, or weather permitting on the bench in the car park. We will discuss treatment etc. in person or by phone. We prefer to take payment by ApplePay/AndroidPay or bank transfer if  possible. An invoice will be emailed to you.
